We're looking for writers, subject experts, moderators and techies to help us get this board rolling with pertinent information on video conferencing and telepresence. Drop a post here if you can help us - we always make sure to give credit where credit is due!

I would be more than willing to help out with this board maybe even write a tech article or 2. I also have quite a bit of forum moderation experience.

Hello Corey and welcome!

Ya' know, we're so new - and the technology is too.... anything would help!

Feel free to post any tech articles (including yours!), we can use anything you can add, as we're still trying to build a foundation here. We've had a tremendous amount of visitors "kicking the tires" here, but most are shy on posting.

Please tell Duffy I said Hi, met him at Infocomm08. Were you there too?

I'm available to post my subjective opinions on products, systems and gear.

Or I could do the "ask the engineer" and help figure out room related issues.

Thanks Cyclist! I'll add a new "forum" for just that - "Ask The Engineer" - probably have it done in the next day or two!

Man, I appreciate that!

Id be happy to volunteer -my topical priority is the integration of proven collaboration methodology with the remote collaboration technology platforms. my emphasis would be on the human use and impact of Telepresence, and i would attempt to provide some productivity metrics and application success stories that folks could use to justify investments in TP

My style is multimedia - here is an example

Hello Dave!

We'd absolutely love to have you and your expertise here on the forum!

Please feel free to post whatever you'd like (communications related) to the individual forums (including your personal blog).

If you have any observations, or can answer a few questions in the "Ask the Engineer" department, that's a plus.

All the individual forums are set up so you can embed a video or hyperlink a domain so please make sure you give yourself credit and link up!

We're pretty new here (5 months old) and so far we've had tremendous growth over the last few months but we have a lot of tire kickers, and hopefully some will start posting replies and getting involved. We have ip's that visit daily from Cisco, Tandberg, Teliris, Polycom, etc. but I haven't been able to lure them out yet - maybe your articles can help with that.

Thanks Dave - I'm looking forward to your writings and assistance. Anything you can do will help the cause of getting this technology in front of the end users.

do you want me to set up topic areas or just post randomly?

If you can Dave, maybe start "new" posts in the relevant forums? Possibly "discussions forum"?

I can set you up with your own forum if that's what you would like too.

i will start slow and not need a special topic forum space - but it may turn out that if the material i submit gets some traction with a segment of the TP audience, we could consider setting up a defined forum space.

Whatever you need, we're here to assist.

Thanks again!
