Interop is very important for all TP players because of:-

TP’s island based approach will not lead TP to growth.
Interop will important in two segments:-
TP-TP
TP-H323
for TP-TP interop, player is in process of accruing market share hence focusing less on it now. Later the player with larger share with dedicate the terms in interop discussions.
TP-H323 is market driven as customer is like to utilize the existing investment on VC end points. Hence TP players are coming with h323 solutionNow answering to your question on cisco TP with h323? Aanswer is yes. Cisco have CUVC (radvison OEM h323 mcu) to cascade with their CTMS (TP MCU).

H.323 is an open standard.
That also is an important reason.

I hope one day all TPs could be interconnected!!!

TP-H323 on SD & HD achieved earlier.
Now Tandberg announced their TP interop with Polycom TP which is second step in right direction.<O:p</O:p
