I met DVE at Infocomm08 in Las Vegas this past weekend....

I know this ruins the "experience" but is it also H.323 compatible? Or is it proprietary....DVE to DVE only?

Don't know the answer to that question but I did leave a message for Jeff at DVE to see if he'd like to come on the Forum and answer that....

At Infocomm08, one of the "main themes" during the questions rounds was just that.... When, and how does telepresence become "intercompany". Cisco went through great lengths to try to answer it saying they were doing everything they could to become "inter" with others such as Polycom, Teliris, DVE, etc. They thought it was one, maybe two years out where one system could call and not only be recognized, but communicate in the entire "immersive" medium with another manufactures system.

We shall soon see!
